It is June already and guess what its.
getting closer to our Auxiliary Meatloaf and Chicken Dinners. First one is Friday June 12th 4-7pm or sold-out out. Auxiliary will be serving their yummy Meatloaf and/or Chicken Fried steak

June is PTSD awareness month. But we need to be aware and considerate every day. Specifically, when you see a veteran, remember that they wage an internal battle that follows them long after they come home. This is the perfect time for BUDDY CHECKS! Now and always, let's be excellent to one another!

2 Veterans. 7 flag poles. And they're just getting started! John T and Jason T (no relation) are working tirelessly on their mission to put flag poles throughout Florissant. If you have a torn or worn out flag, contact us! We'll help replace your old flag and give it the proper retirement, and we can even help with flag poles. Our mission is to help in the community and proudly display our patriotism!

Wednesday Night was fabulous, thanks for coming out and celebrating Florissant with us!
But we have more! Saturday night at 6 PM, the Forestwood Boys take the stage at the VFW hall and bring their amazing sound to the Post. You don't want to miss this one!

Wednesday Night Out is finally here! VFW Post 4105 will host tonight with live music from BLUES RACKET. Grab a boxed-up dinner from Catering To You - Old Town Kitchen. Of course, we'll have our Queen of Hearts game tonight. But, we'll also honor our POW/MIAs, and recruiters will be on hand to assist with joining the VFW. Our benefits advisor will be available to assist with any veteran's concerns. The weather is going to be perfect for some outdoor fun!

They came from all walks of life. You knew them. They were our friends and family. Or, maybe they were names you only heard about in the news. But they were part of us. They answered our nation's call and bravely put themselves in harm's way. FOR US. We remember the ones who didn't make it home.
Memorial Day is the special day set aside for us to remember them. We thank them for their selfless service and love of country. And it's perfect that we do that with our barbecues, trips to the river, visiting with family or friends, or any other way of enjoying our great country. Because that's what they were fighting for!
VFW Post 4105 wishes you happiness, healing, and peace this Memorial Day. Our Post will be closed on Monday to honor those who sacrificed everything. We'll be back on Tuesday.

The VFW Day of Service event at MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY was very successful .
Members of the Post and Auxiliary cleaned a large part of the Veteran section and paid respect to those that came before us.
Post 4105 would like to say a huge THANK.YOU to all who helped make today special.

TOMORROW, Saturday, May 23rd, at 8:00 AM, we will meet at the Post if anybody wants to carpool to MEMORIAL PARK CEMETERY on I-70 at the Lucas and Hunt exit. If you're going straight to the Cemetery, we'll meet there at 9:00 AM. Bring w**d eaters, leaf blowers, buckets (we'll supply the water), scrub brushes, and dish soap (Dawn dish soap works best). Don't forget bug and tick spray! We'll spend our VFW DAY OF SERVICE cleaning the stones in the Veterans section. It's a small gesture of giving back to those who gave all.
