The Floris City park will be closed until further notice. Construction has begun. We ask that you do not enter the park or allow your children to play on the equipment. Thank you!

The City Council meeting will be held on April 8th this month.

There will be road construction over the next few days next to the Floris post office on Allen & Main st. to fix the culvert. Also there will be some tubes replaced on Allen & High St. Please be aware and avoid these areas. Thank you!

The City of Floris is accepting applications for the position of City Clerk. The applicant must be self-motivated and able to work independently. The applicant will work primarily from home on your own schedule approximately 20-25 hours per month at $16/hr, plus mileage, with a meeting in Floris the 1st Monday of each month. You will be responsible for all financial activities of the City, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, garbage billing, all financial reports, state and federal reports, council meeting agendas and minutes, resolutions, ordinances, budget preparation, etc. Computer skills are necessary.
