It's been a busy week! We said we started getting more aggressive on locating individuals with outstanding warrants from our Court and our local cases, and we think some recent productivity since our last social media arrest post reflects that. If you have warrants, turning yourself in on YOUR time is probably more convenient than us finding you on OUR time. You can even call and schedule a surrender if you like; we'll work with you. We are here 24/7/365!

** On June 8, 2026, Officers Alex Tredy and Jason Conley arrested a state “Wanted Person”, Mr. Shelton Geathers, age 33 of Plainfield, NJ, on an outstanding criminal warrant from Florham Park. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on April 24, 2026, in which it is alleged that while in a residence in Florham Park, the suspect physically attacked and strangled a victim before stealing property and then fleeing on foot prior to police arrival. In the original complaint, he is charged criminally with the following:

• Aggravated Assault, a 2nd degree crime
• False Imprisonment, a disorderly persons offense
• Theft by Unlawful Taking, a 3rd degree crime

After being processed on his criminal charges, Mr. Geathers was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility where he was lodged pending a detention hearing. Following his detention hearing before a Superior Court Judge, Mr. Geathers was ordered to remain detained.

** On June 8, 2026, Officer Mike Zvolensky arrested Mrs. Parvin Shokry of Ashburn, VA, while in Florham Park. While not a Florham Park Court warrant, Mrs. Shokry is known to this agency and it was known by Officer Zvolensky she possessed an outstanding municipal court warrant from East Hanover. Mrs. Shokry was processed at our Headquarters and later released upon approval from the East Hanover Municipal Court. She was additionally charged with the following motor vehicle summonses out of the Florham Park Municipal Court:

• Driving While Suspended
• Driving an Unregistered Vehicle
• Failure to Surrender a Suspended License

** On June 10, 2026, Officers Alex Tredy and Jason Conley took a trip to Monmouth County and arrested another state “Wanted Person”, Ms. Alison Stevens, age 61 of Oakhurst, New Jersey on an outstanding criminal warrant from Florham Park. The original complaint stems from an incident on May 18, 2026, in Florham Park, where it is alleged Ms. Stevens violated, again, a Victim's Assistance and Survivor Final Protective Order resulting in her being charged with Contempt of Court. Ms. Stevens was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility where she was lodged pending a hearing before a Superior Court Judge. She was later released.

** On May 25, 2026, Sergeant Dan Braico stopped a vehicle on Columbia Tpk near the center of town for failing to maintain its lane of travel and additional equipment violations. During the stop, Sgt. Braico observed an unusually large number of cases of energy drinks in plain view inside the vehicle, which the men could not provide any logical explanation for possessing such a large quantity nor any proof of purchasing the same, along with conflicting accounts of how they came into possession of the drinks. Sgt. Braico seized 33 cases of energy drinks from the duo, issued them summonses for their respective motor vehicle violations, and sent them on their way as the investigation into a suspected theft continued. Eventually, Sgt. Braico, with the assistance of Detective Chris Heredia, was able to determine an ACME in Randolph was the victim of theft of exactly 33 cases of energy drinks on the same date.

Subsequently, the men, Mr. Deandre Camacho, age 32 of Vauxhall, NJ, and Mr. Kyjuan Hutchins, age 26 of Vauxhall, were charged in Florham Park with Receiving Stolen Property, a 3rd degree crime, and criminal warrants were issued for their arrests. June 10, 2026, Detective Chris Heredia learned another agency arrested both men on unrelated charges, so he responded to the Morris County Correctional Facility where they were processed on our charges.

** On March 13, 2026, Officer Dan Hedden took a report from a business and resident in Florham Park alleging being the victim of fraudulent credit card transactions used to make $1,775.47 worth of purchases. Following two months of follow-up work by Detective Chris Heredia, he was able to identify Mr. Kenneth Pared, age 25 of Perth Amboy, as his primary suspect. Following a review of the evidence and proofs, a criminal warrant was issued for the arrest of Mr. Pared. On June 11, 2026, a group of several Officers went “warrant hunting” and were able to locate and arrest Mr. Pared in Perth Amboy. He was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility where he was processed and will remain pending a detention hearing before a Superior Court Judge. He was charged with the following:

• Theft by Deception, a crime of the 3rd degree
• Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards, a crime of the 3rd degree

** On June 11, 2026, at about 4:15 pm, Officer Tom Belli stopped a vehicle for failing to signal a lane change along James St. During his roadside conversation with the occupants, Off. Belli observed items he believed may have been freshly stolen. During his follow-up questioning, Officer Dan Jimenez responded to our Walgreens who confirmed with management that the driver, Mr. Kimani France, age 18 from Brooklyn, NY, had just stolen the items from their location. Mr. France was then placed under arrest and brought back to Headquarters for processing. He was issued a complaint summons for Shoplifting as well as motor vehicle violations for being an unlicensed driver and failing to signal his lane change. He was later released pending a future municipal court appearance.

Be careful!! No law enforcement agency will demand payment over the phone. In fact, no business you may ever owe money to would demand payment over the phone via gift cards. However, if you think you actually do have outstanding warrants, call your Court to confirm or dispel.

A scam is currently circulating in which residents receive a phone call from an individual claiming to be a Hanover Twp. Police Officer; specifically Chief Michael Loock. The caller is threatening the residents with false accusations until they fulfill payment usually through some type of gift cards or bar code scam.

The Hanover Twp Police Department will NEVER request money over the phone. Do not purchase gift cards for anyone claiming to be law enforcement. Gift cards are not a legitimate payment method for anything involving bills, taxes, or to any federal or local government.

Notable arrests of late, including two illegal weapon seizures, DWIs, trespassing, and plenty more.

** On May 31, 2026, around 2:45 am, Officers Dan Hedden and Matt Liberato, with Sergeant Jared Orgel, responded to a residence in town on the report of a known male actively attempting to smash a vehicle window. Officers were in the area immediately, splitting between going right to the home and being able to locate and stop the fleeing vehicle along Ridgedale Ave. As Officers reviewed video surveillance confirming the allegation, they observed the suspect using an object resembling an apparent handgun to try to smash the car window.

During that immediate investigation, the suspect, identified as Mr. Frank Cefalu, a 53-year-old male from East Hanover, NJ, was arrested and charged with:

• one count of Criminal Mischief, a fourth-degree crime
• one count of Harassment, a petty disorderly persons offense.

However, the vehicle Mr. Cefalu used to flee the scene was impounded during his arrest on Ridgedale Ave and a search warrant was obtained. As a result of the superior court authorized search warrant, a “ghost gun”, resembling a modern G***k 9mm handgun, was found in the vehicle loaded with hollow point ammunition, as well as a Blackjack (a prohibited weapon). Based on this, Mr. Cefalu was served with additional criminal charges and lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing in front of a Superior Court Judge. Additional charges included the following:

• one count of Possessing a Firearm with the intent to use it against a person or property, a second-degree crime
• one count of Unlawful Possession of a Handgun, a third-degree crime
• one count of Knowingly Possessing Hollow-point Ammunition without proper authorization, a fourth-degree crime
• one count of Knowingly Possessing Certain Weapons Without a Lawful Purpose, a fourth-degree crime
• one count of Possession of a Firearm Without a Serial Number, a crime of the second degree

** On May 28, 2026 at about 2:40 pm, Officer Nick Cotterell conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a vehicle on Columbia Tpk with illegally tinted windows. During the course of the stop, he learned the driver of the vehicle, identified as Mr. Jamar London, age 37 of Newark, NJ, was driving on a suspended license and had an outstanding traffic warrant from Florham Park Municipal Court. While arresting Mr. London on the warrant, Officer Cotterell found a quantity of drugs - amphetamine, and following a subsequent search of the suspect’s vehicle, found a loaded handgun with a high-capacity magazine. Mr. London was not legally permitted to carry/possess this weapon.

Mr. London was transported to Headquarters where he was charged with numerous motor vehicle and criminal law violations before being lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing before a Superior Court Judge, to include:

• one count of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a Second-Degree Crime
• one count of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a Third-Degree Crime
• one count of Possession of a Large Capacity Ammunition Magazine, a Fourth-Degree Crime
• Open Container Alcohol / Unsealed Cannabis in Motor Vehicle
• Obstruction of Windshield for Vision
• Driving While Suspended
• Operation of Motor Vehicle While in Possession of a Narcotic

** On May 29, 2026, Officer Anthony Negri conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing a no-turn-on-red violation at Park St and Ridgedale Ave. While identifying the driver, identified as Mr. Nasir Way, age 24 of Willingboro, NJ, Officer Negri learned he was a suspended driver and possessed an active warrant from Newark, NJ. Mr. Way was arrested and transported to Headquarters where he was able to use another party to help satisfy the bail requirement of the warrant. He was then released from custody after being issued the following motor vehicle summonses:

• Driving While Suspended
• Failure to observe a traffic signal
• Failure to secure child under 2 / under 30lbs in proper restraint system

** On May 24, 2026 at approximately 8:20 pm, Officer Joe Chris had a solid case of, “hey, you can’t park there!” (image attached) While on routine patrol, he located a vehicle parked off the roadway and on the front lawn of a business along Columbia Tpk near Park St. After making contact with the operator of the vehicle, later identified as Mr. Isidore Niyongabo, age 44 from Georgetown, TX, Officer Chris noticed not only fresh damage to the vehicle, but that Mr. Niyongabo exhibited several signs of impairment. After attempting field sobriety testing, Mr. Niyongabo was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Due to other issues present, the suspect was transported to a local medical facility where a search warrant was later approved authorizing the obtaining of a blood sample to determine the level of alcohol in his blood. Mr. Niyongabo was released from custody while at the hospital to a responsible adult. He was charged with the following pending a municipal court hearing:

• Driving While Intoxicated
• Reckless Driving
• Failure to Maintain Lane of Travel
• Failure to Keep Right
• Careless Driving

** On June 7, 2026 at 1:20 am, Officer Dan Hedden conducted a motor vehicle stop in town after learning the driver of the vehicle was believed to be operating on a suspended license. During his roadside interview, he came to believe the operator, Ms. Jamika Felix, age 42 of Wharton, was also operating her vehicle while intoxicated. After field sobriety tests were performed, Off. Hedden placed Ms. Felix under arrest and transported her to Headquarters for processing. After providing a breath sample showing a preliminary reading above NJ’s legal limit, she was charged with the following motor vehicle offenses and released to a responsible adult.

• Driving While Intoxicated
• Driving While Suspended
• Reckless Driving
• Careless Driving
• No Liability Insurance Coverage

** On June 6, 2026, Officer Nick Cotterell conducted a stop after learning the operator of a vehicle was believed to be a suspended driver. After confirming the identity of the driver as Ms. Yasmin Thompson, age 38 of Irvington, NJ, it was also learned she had active outstanding warrants from both the Franklin Twp and North Brunswick Municipal Courts. Subsequently, Ms. Thompson was placed under arrest and transported to Florham Park Headquarters. After being issued a summons for driving while suspended, she was turned over to the custody of the Franklin Twp Police and remanded to the Somerset County Jail based on the strength of their warrant.

** On May 23, 2026, Officer Matt Liberato took a report at Headquarters from a victim of a reported violent incident that occurred only a couple of hours earlier that day, though in another town. While assisting with the initial taking of that report, the victim also divulged being the victim of a similar crime in Florham Park about one week prior. In that case, the victim alleged they were violently attacked and strangled by a known party, Mr. Jahel Ramsey, age 26 of Jersey City. Officers conducted their investigation and established enough evidence to arrest and charge the suspect for the attack in Florham Park. Mr. Ramsey was criminally charged with the following and lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility pending a detention hearing before a Superior Court Judge:

• One count of Aggravated Assault, a second-degree crime
• One count of Simple Assault, a disorderly persons offense

** On May 22, 2026 at approximately 9:20 pm, a 9-1-1 caller reported an erratic driver along Columbia Tpk. by Fernwood Rd. Officer Kyle Kepler was in the immediate vicinity and spotted the vehicle westbound on Columbia Tpk while occupying both lanes of travel simultaneously. Prior to conducting his stop, he observed the vehicle signal a left turn, but instead turn right onto Hanover Rd by making a dangerously wide turn into the opposing lane of travel. Officer Kepler stopped the vehicle and identified the driver as Ms. Anne Lebleboojian, age 61 of West Caldwell, NJ. Based on Officer Kepler’s own observations and in speaking with her, he instructed Ms. Lebleboojian through field sobriety tests. Following the testing, Ms. Lebleboojian was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. She would later provide a breath sample which indicated, preliminarily, that the content of alcohol in her blood was .241% - three times New Jersey’s legal limit of .08%! She was processed and charged with the following offenses before being released to a responsible adult:

• Careless driving
• Failure to give proper signal
• Reckless driving
• Failure to observe traffic lanes
• Improper right turn
• Driving while intoxicated
• Failure to possess vehicle registration card
• Failure to possess vehicle insurance card
• Failure to possess driver's license

** On May 20, 2026, Officers responded to Saint Elizabeth University for a reported trespasser in their library. Upon arrival, it was observed the suspect was known to both campus security and this agency as someone who was not only previously trespassed from University grounds, but also previously arrested for trespassing on their property by Officer Tom Belli on March 10, 2026. In this incident, the male, identified as Mr. Jonathan Yoesting, age 47 of Madison, NJ, was again arrested by Officer Mike Magliacano for trespassing and removed from campus. He was charged on a complaint summons with one count of Unlicensed Entry of a Structure, which is a fourth-degree crime when committed at a school building. Then again on May 22, 2026, Mr. Yoesting was arrested by Officer Dan Hedden for trespassing and harassment on the same campus after belligerently yelling at a security guard who was denying him access to campus. Because of the municipal boundary line running through campus in relation to where the offenses occurred, the charges in this specific incident were later transferred to Morris Township via the Madison Joint Municipal Court.

** On May 16, 2026 at approximately 8:45 am, Officers responded to a residence on Brandywyne Dr. where a victim was reporting their vehicle as having been stolen. During the investigation by Officer Conor DeCoursey, it was determined the vehicle had not been stolen, but that the suspect in this incident, Mrs. Ann Pilla, age 66 of Florham Park, had taken actions and made statements causing the victim to believe their vehicle was stolen. Mrs. Pilla was arrested and charged on a complaint summons with one count of Causing Another to File a False Police Report, a fourth-degree crime. She was processed at Headquarters and released.

** Finally, the Florham Park Police is increasing our proactive approach to identifying, locating, and arresting individuals with outstanding warrants for “failing to appear” as issued by our Municipal Court. Some arrests so far from this initiative include Mr. Everson Francis, age 42 of Florham Park, for a criminal warrant; Mr. Teshan Hope, age 32 of East Orange for a traffic warrant; and Alison Stevens of Oakhurst, NJ for a criminal warrant; each of whom was subsequently lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility. We have a good-sized list and expect to announce more arrests. If you have a warrant from our Court, you can come in when it is convenient for you or we will find you when it is convenient for US! We’re here 24/7/365.
