Next, we recognize Patrolman Victor Favella!
Patrolman Favella graduated from the San Antonio College Police Academy in 2010 while maintaining full-time employment, showing dedication, discipline, and strong work ethic early in his law enforcement career. After successfully completing the academy, he received his TCOLE Peace Officer License and officially began serving the State of Texas in law enforcement.
With over 15 years of service, Patrolman Favella began his career in 2011 with the Von Ormy City Marshal’s Office, where he served until 2014. During his time there, he gained valuable experience in patrol operations, public safety, and community service. In his third year of service, he was promoted to Corporal, recognizing his leadership, commitment, and dedication to the department.
In December 2014, Patrolman Favella joined the Floresville Police Department, where he continues to proudly serve today. In 2019, he was promoted to Detective and served in that role until 2024, handling criminal investigations, case management, evidence review, witness interviews, and follow-up investigations.
He is currently assigned back to Patrol and also serves as a Field Training Officer (FTO), helping train, mentor, and guide newly hired officers to ensure department standards and public safety expectations are met.
Throughout his career, Patrolman Favella has remained committed to professionalism, leadership, and serving the community with integrity, accountability, and dedication. We are grateful for his years of service and everything he brings to the Floresville Police Department.
