We want to give a huge thank you to Two Sister's located in Penrose. This incredible restaurant is always showing their appreciation and support for our first responders and veterans. 🇺🇸❤️

Your kindness, generosity, and genuine gratitude do not go unnoticed. Supporting the men and women who serve our communities and our country means so much, and it’s businesses like yours that remind us how much that support matters.

Thank you for standing behind those who have served and continue to serve. We appreciate you more than you know! 👏🇺🇸

If you have not tried Two Sister's we highly recommend them! They have great food and service. They are open 7 days a week, and run specials everyday.

We would also like to extend a thank you to these business for all of their support. This is exactly what communities are about.

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to our community partners!

Florence Fire Protection District is incredibly grateful for the generosity of Elizabeth Fire Rescue, Florence Ace Hardware, Brandee’s Bites, and our local community. Together, their support has allowed us to purchase six new wildland packs and fire shelters to help keep our firefighters safe while working on wildland incidents.

Elizabeth Fire Rescue awarded FFPD a $5,000 grant toward the purchase of this essential safety equipment.

Florence Ace Hardware and Brandee’s Bites donated a total of $1,000 through their Local Heroes campaign. During the campaign, customers were invited to round up their purchases, with the money raised benefiting local first responders. The funds were shared between FFPD and Wetmore Volunteer Fire Department.

These donations represent more than new equipment, they represent a community that supports the people who answer the call when they’re needed.

To Elizabeth Fire Rescue, Florence Ace Hardware, Brandee’s Bites, and every community member who rounded up their purchase: thank you for investing in the safety of our firefighters. We are incredibly grateful for your support!

Be advised of the new stage one fire restrictions.

Great news! As of 10:00am 8/18/26, the Florence Fire Protection District has moved from a stage two to a stage one fire ban! This is due to the recent favorable weather conditions the district has received.

This, however, does NOT mean the dangerous fire conditions are gone. There are still numerous fires burning throughout the western United States and resources to fight these fires are limited. The district is still in a drought with water restrictions in place, therefore, we urge residents to follow the burning regulations to help reduce the risk of fires. These restrictions are the same as Bureau of Land Management and Fremont County.

Still have questions? View the photo below to see what is and is not allowed during a stage one fire ban.
