🚧 Happy Hollow Bridge – New 3-Ton Weight Limit 🚧

Please be advised that the Happy Hollow Bridge is now posted with a 3-ton weight limit.

To help protect the bridge and ensure it remains safe for everyone, we ask that motorists be mindful of the weight restrictions and avoid having multiple vehicles on the bridge at the same time whenever possible. Extra caution and patience will help reduce stress on the structure and extend its lifespan.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we work to preserve this important community asset. Thank you for helping protect Happy Hollow Bridge and for doing your part to keep our roads safe!

Don't forget about the Lauderdale County Rabies Clinic here at the St. Florian Park on Saturday, June 20th starting at 3:15-4:15 PM.

The 2026 Lauderdale County Rabies Clinic will be starting in June. Below is the Rabies Clinic Schedule for 2026. All rabies vaccines are $12.00. Please be mindful of the starting times at each location because we have to leave on time to make our next stop!

Due to recent weather conditions, the final stage of paving on the Town of St. Florian Walking Trail has been delayed. Unfortunately, the rain has created conditions that are not suitable for completing the project at this time.

The contractor will resume work as soon as weather permits to ensure the paving is completed properly and will provide a long-lasting surface for everyone to enjoy.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this final phase of the project. We are excited to open the completed trail and will provide updated closure and reopening information as soon as a new schedule is confirmed.

The park and trail will reopen Wednesday, June 3 at 2:00 PM. During this time, no entry will be permitted so the new surface can properly cure and set.

We know the wait has been worth it, and we are excited to soon unveil the COMPLETED walking trail for everyone to enjoy! Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we put the finishing touches on this exciting improvement for our community. 👟🌳

Due to unforseen circumstances, our post never posted on Friday. But the Town still wants to post about our officers!

The Town of St. Florian would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all of our officers — including our reserve officers — for the dedication and service you provide to our community each and every day.

Being a law enforcement officer is not an easy job, yet you continue to serve with professionalism, courage, and compassion while helping keep our town safe and protected. Your commitment does not go unnoticed.

We are especially grateful for the way you go above and beyond for our community — whether it’s helping with Easter egg hunts, Christmas toy drives, Christmas parades, or simply being there whenever our citizens need you most.

Thank you for your hard work, sacrifice, and the strong work ethic you demonstrate daily. St. Florian is blessed to have such caring and dedicated officers serving our town. We truly appreciate all that you do!

As we celebrate Peace Officers Memorial Day, help us show our appreciation by thanking an officer for their service and dedication to our community. 💙

🏆⛳ What an Amazing First Tournament! ⛳🏆

The Town of St. Florian hosted its very first Disc Golf Tournament this past Saturday, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible support from our community!

A huge THANK YOU to the Shoals Frisbee Club, all of our participants, our dedicated employees who helped plan the event, Campbell's Kitchen Food Truck, and our generous sponsors. It’s truly inspiring to see our community come together and help add such a fun and successful event to our town’s calendar. 💙

We had a great turnout with 19 amateurs and 8 juniors competing!

Amateur Division Winners:

🥈 2nd Place – Jess Morgan ($35 Visa Gift Card)
