Get ready to explore the amazing human body!
Homeschool Discovery Days begins a new course today with a lesson about the human heart and circulatory system. Students will discover how the heart works and how blood travels throughout the body to keep us moving. Join us today from 2pm - 3pm. This program is for ages 7 - 12.

Join us for Sensory Explorers today from 11am - 11:0am!
This low-pressure program is designed for children with autism, sensory sensitivities, or anyone who prefers a quieter environment. Each session features a short, interactive story time followed by hands-on sensory play stations that encourage exploration, movement, and creativity. Sensory Explorers supports early literacy, social interaction, and self-expression in a welcoming, nonjudgmental space. All ages are welcome!

Bring your baby or toddler to Baby’s 1st Story Time today from 10am –10:30am. This parent-and-me class invites caregivers to sing, move, and participate alongside Ms. Jasmine as children develop early literacy skills through songs, nursery rhymes, and movement. For ages 0–3 and their caregivers.

The first five years build the foundation for the rest of your child’s life. Let’s make them count with Fun Van! The Fun Van will be at the Viney Jones Library today from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Stop by in person to meet with a representative, learn more about the program, and find out how to sign up! Fun Van is a free parenting education program supported by First Things First in the Pinal Region. Families meet once a week for eight weeks to play, learn, and grow together. Each class includes story time, a creative craft, playtime, a unique parent session, and a book for your family to keep! During the parent sessions, parents and caregivers explore topics from the Early Childhood STEP curriculum, including understanding children’s behavior, building self-esteem, improving communication, encouraging cooperation, supporting social-emotional development, and more. Yesterday’s first Viney Jones Adventure Club trip was a sweet success!
Our group traveled to Cerreta Candy Company in Glendale, Arizona, where they enjoyed a guided factory tour and learned how their delicious chocolates are made. Before the tour, everyone stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel. To top off the day, each participant created a chocolate candy bar of their very own to take home. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made our first Adventure Club trip so much fun. We can’t wait to see where our next adventure takes us!
