NASFM is honored to have attended and present valuable safety information at the Global Health and Safety Annual Awards Banquet, where the Missouri State Fire Marshal and NASFM Board Member joined safety leaders from across the company to recognize excellence and commitment to public safety. Marshal Bean’s message motivated and inspired the attendees

A special moment of the evening was receiving a generous sponsorship commitment for NASFM from President Chris Roberts, reinforcing a shared commitment to supporting the mission of safety, education, and collaboration within the fire service community. Global Health & Safety

Thank you to everyone who continues to champion safety leadership and strengthen partnerships that make a difference nationwide.

Don't forget!

❄️ January is Winter Safety Awareness Month ❄️

As temperatures drop, it’s important to stay alert to seasonal hazards that can impact homes, workplaces, and families. Winter Safety Awareness Month highlights key risks such as cold stress, slips and falls, and carbon monoxide exposureβ€”all of which increase during colder months.

January also includes important safety observances:
🏠 National Radon Action Month (EPA) – A reminder to test your home for radon, a leading cause of lung cancer.
πŸ› National Bath Safety Month (NDPA / Brighter Futures Indiana) – Focused on preventing child drownings and promoting safe bath-time practices.

This month is about preparedness and prevention:
βœ”οΈ Ensure carbon monoxide detectors are installed and working
βœ”οΈ Test your home for radon
βœ”οΈ Take precautions during icy or wet conditions
βœ”οΈ Never leave children unattended in the bath

Stay warm. Stay alert. Stay safe.

Our Carbon monoxide sensor saved this family.
They even had other detectors that never went off.

Well written by Chris Roberts
For 55 years, our company has been saving lives with our products and our awareness education. It’s definitely the most rewarding aspect of our mission when we save a life. While we’ve saved thousands of people in over five decades we’ve also saved millions of dollars in property. This customer decided to take her thanks to the media. While we appreciate her gratitude, we’re sincerely more grateful she was protected when she needed it. Protecting the world… one family at a time.
