Thanks to the 32nd OST Grant awarded by MiLEAP, books, back to school supplies and program materials supported Mari Copeny Little Miss Flint’s Back to School Give Back and

Communities First, Inc. Movie Under the Stars, where GCFPL provided blankets and books. 📚🧺

We also connected at the River Park Resource Fair, shared local history with the Genesee County Medical Society Project, and engaged seniors through Molina Healthcare of Michigan with book clubs and coffee conversations. ☕📖

We join the entire library community in mourning Dolly Parton, the founder of the Imagination Library, music legend, and philanthropist. She generously gifted over 332,411,218 books to children around the world. ❤🕊

For more than thirty years, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library
the Imagination Library has inspired a love of reading by providing free books to children from birth to age five. A thoughtful leader and kind collaborator, she believed libraries exist to make a difference today. She will be deeply missed.
