For just $1, you can make a difference for families in our community! That’s right, with four quarters or even ten dimes, your $1 can provide six meals!

Purchase a heart, write your name on it, and we’ll proudly display it on our wall. It’s a simple way to show your support and the impact goes even further than you may realize.

September is also Hunger Action Month, making this the perfect time to take action. If you’re looking for a quick, easy, and meaningful way to support local individuals and families facing food insecurity, stop by and purchase a heart.

One dollar. One heart. A big impact.

Help us fill our wall and our community with love.

Every year our Back-to-school program ensures that kids in our community have EVERYTHING that they need to be successful and confident going into a new school year. Entering a new school year with confidence is not just about school supplies, we want kids to look good AND feel good on the 1st day of school!

This year at Crossover Outreach we are proud to have helped 296 kids with not only school supplies but also brand-new clothing for their 2026-2027 school year! We hope these items will allow kids to walk into the classroom on the first day prepared, confident, and ready to learn!

A huge and heartfelt Thank you goes out to everyone who made this program a success! Special Thank you to Allen at Community Threads of Fenton for a great deal on our backpacks!
Thank you to our supporting churches, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Every Nation AG Flint, Court Street United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church of Flint, and Community Foundation of Greater Flint, The Jennings Memorial Foundation, Martha Merkley Charitable Trust, The Nartel Family Foundation, The NGA: National Giving Alliance!

Women's Equality Day | 2026 ❤

Today, we celebrate the history of women's fight for equality. We recognize the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the constitutional right to vote.

Today and Everyday, we celebrate the women in our community who lead, nurture, advocate, create, and inspire change every day.

Thank you to the women of our past who paved the way for us today. Let's continue to stand together, uplift one another and create change for the girls and women of the future.

This summer, Crossover returned to Bay Shore Camp for an incredible week of fun, friendship, growth, and memories that will last a lifetime!

Our campers enjoyed swimming, archery, worship, arts and crafts, games, the zip line, and plenty of opportunities to make new friends. They also explored valuable life skills through classes in car care, wellness, home economics, scrapbooking, entrepreneurship, service projects, and more.

But the most meaningful part of the week was hearing from Bay Shore’s staff about the impact our campers had on them, too. The smiles, conversations, accomplishments, and connections made throughout the week left a lasting impression.

Our campers were reminded again and again: You are big. You are strong. You are loved by God. We hope those words stay with them long after camp is over.

We are so grateful to Bay Shore Camp & Family Ministries for welcoming Crossover back and creating such a loving, encouraging environment for our kids.

A special thank-you to everyone who helped make this experience possible: the Child Welfare Society, the Nartel Family Foundation, the Stella & Frederick Loeb Charitable Trust, and the East Winds District-Michigan Conference UMC. Your support gave our campers the opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills, face new challenges, and create memories they’ll carry with them for years to come.

And a very special shoutout to Court Street United Methodist Church! Thank you for opening your doors to us for our pre-camp party, providing a place for bus drop-offs and pick-ups, and generously supplying so many of the items our campers needed!

We came hoping to give our campers a great week of summer camp and we left with so much more.

Did you know bald Eagles don't get their white bald head until they are 5 or 6 years old? NEITHER DID WE! We had a blast today out at For-Mar Nature Preserve & Arboretum's Pop-Up Event learning all about our feathery friends.

It was so great to be out in the community to share information about Crossover's upcoming programs and provide so many kiddos and families with nutrition education goodies! We can't wait to see you all at future events.

From helping someone set up their kitchen to making sure they have appropriate clothing, these items matter more than you might think.

If you’re able to give, we are especially in need of:
• Men's casual clothing
• Men's casual shoes
• Drinking glasses/plastic cups

SAVE THE DATE!!!

We’re thrilled to be partnering with our friends at Flint Strive and their Youth Empowerment Program for another Mobile Food Giveaway!

This event is about so much more than putting food on the table. It’s also about giving young people the opportunity to lead, serve, and make a meaningful difference right here in their own community.

The young people in Flint Strive’s program continue to impress us with their willingness to step up and give back. We’re proud to stand alongside them as they gain valuable real-world experience while helping their neighbors.

Together, we can make sure more families have access to the food they need and show our youth just how powerful it can be to serve others.

📅 Monday, August 17
⏰ 10 a.m. until the food runs out
