Today, the Holiday Inn-Gateway is holding its 2nd annual “Pay-It-Forward Donation Drive” to benefit Carriage Town Ministries in Flint until 5 p.m. Go to the main entrance of the hotel, 5353 Gateway Centre Drive, with your donations of gently used and clean clothing, non-perishable food, personal items, old computers and cash and get a doughnut and cider in return. FLINT -- Bishop Airport and elected officials will cut the ribbon on a new, $5.6-million deicing pad on Thursday, a project primarily funded with two grants from the Federal Aviation Administration.
