Kearsley's Pumpkin Patch Early Childhood

Kearsley Community Schools established the Pumpkin Patch Child Care and Learning Center, in the Thelma Buffey Elementary building, as a community service. The staff and programs exemplify the same dedication to fine quality as other Kearsley programs. Our objective is to provide a child-centered program to help fill the serious need for a warm, secure environment with love, good physical care and

an atmosphere conducive to learning. We provide tuition classes for infant, toddler, early preschool, Child Development, Montessori, before and after school Latchkey. We have Great Start to Readiness Program (GSRP) free for qualifying 4 year olds and also house Head Start/GCARD and Early Special Needs Classrooms (no gratis).

Get ready for a great start! Buffey Early Childhood, Home of Pumpkin Patch, is ready to warmly welcome students to our Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) for the fall of 2026. This is a free, state funded program for students turning 4 on or before December 1, 2026. Buffey, Pumpkin Patch, is a highly rated early childhood building with wonderful, highly qualified staff.

To enroll, please call 810-591-KIDS or enroll online at 591kids.org and select Pumpkin Patch when prompted. You may call us at 810-591-3504 if you need any assistance or have questions.

We are excited for students and families to join our educational community!
