Whaley Children's Center Transforming Lives and Creating Futures for the kids at Whaley Children's Center since 1926.

At Whaley Children’s Center, our children come to us due to severe abuse and neglect. Through our program, we help our children build confidence and provide them a place to belong and call home. Our CARF-accredited Qualified Residential Treatment Facility, licensed with the State of Michigan, serves foster youth ages 5-17, and our Independent Living Plus program supports youth aging out of the fos

ter care system ages 16-21. With the dedication of our staff, donors, and volunteers, we empower our children to heal, grow, and thrive.

Welcome back to school!

We are so happy to welcome our youth back into school with our newly updated classrooms. These walls and workspaces better implement trauma-informed practices and environments to start the year off right.

These upgrades were made possible through grants from Domino's and the Stella and Frederick Loeb Trust. Thank you so much to both of these organizations for making a difference for all of our on-campus students.
