It's national Donut Day. A day we remember our Donut Lassies and their efforts on the front line in WW I. Since we started National Donut Day in 1917, many donuts were served up to soldiers and Veteran's. In that same spirit we recognize our first responders. They put themselves in harms way, on the front line of disasters and tragedy. We love you and thank you for your service.

Did you know National Donut Day began with The Salvation Army? ❤️

In 1917, Salvation Army “Donut Lassies” served fresh donuts to soldiers during World War I to bring comfort, encouragement, and a taste of home. Today, we continue that tradition by celebrating the people who serve our communities every day.
