Genesee County Department of Veterans Services Strengthening the lives of Genesee County Veterans and their families through compassionate service, supportive resources, and professional advocacy.

Veterans Services in Genesee County has Veteran Service Officers that are Nationally accredited to file claims on behalf of veterans to the VA. A claim can range from filing for a service-connected disability, health benefits, pension/survivors pension, education benefits and burial benefits. All veterans should know what benefits they have available to them. We also have 2 grants available in our office for eligible veterans, veterans' spouses and surviving spouses of veterans who find themselves in need of emergency help.
