Parents Just Like Me, a parent-led support and resource community designed to connect, support, and empower families raising children in today's complex world.

Many parents are balancing work, school systems, autism, ADHD, mental health needs, finances, caregiving responsibilities, and the everyday challenges that come with raising children. Parents Just Like Me was created to provide a welcoming space where families can connect with others who understand the journey.

Through this community, parents will have opportunities to:
• Build meaningful connections with other families
• Share resources and information
• Learn about community services and supports
• Strengthen advocacy skills
• Discuss educational, behavioral, and family challenges
• Participate in workshops, trainings, and special Saginaw Area Daily-Events

Whether parents are navigating an IEP, 504 Plan, autism, ADHD, behavioral concerns, mental health challenges, or simply seeking a supportive community, they are welcome here.

⚠️ Space is limited to 20 participants.

Children are welcome. Child-friendly spaces will be available; however, childcare is not provided. Parents and caregivers are responsible for supervising their children throughout the meeting.

🚫 Registration is required. No walk-ins will be accepted.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Loads of Love in Saginaw Thursday!

Families were able to get up to three loads of laundry done for free, receive free laundry supplies, and while the wash was tumbling, connect with helpful resources.

Today, we honor Juneteenth — a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the enduring strength of our communities.

As we reflect on the significance of June 19, 1865, we recognize the importance of continuing to build a future where every child, family, and community has the opportunity to thrive.

At FACT (Families and Children Together), we remain committed to strengthening families, removing barriers, and creating pathways to hope, healing, and opportunity.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Loads of Love in Genesee County yesterday! Families were able to get laundry done, receive supplies, and connect with helpful community resources while they waited.

A special thank you to ELGA Credit Union and Bendle/Carman-Ainsworth Early Head Start for being there and spending time with families.

Loads of Love is not just about laundry. It is also a chance to meet families where they are, listen, and help connect them to supports they may need.

This event was made possible with major support from Molina Healthcare of Michigan. Thank you for helping us bring practical support directly to local families.

Saginaw County, Loads of Love is coming up this Thursday.

Families can receive up to 3 free laundry loads per household, along with free laundry supplies.

A quick note: larger washers may count as more than one regular load. FACT staff will help guide washer use so we can serve families fairly and support as many households as possible.

Notice:
Large washers hold multiple regular loads, so families may be asked to combine laundry into larger machines when possible. This helps us cover laundry fairly and serve as many families as we can.
