September gives us a chance to step out of summer mode, settle into a new rhythm and take a fresh look at the days ahead. It is a natural time to reflect on where we have been, where we are now and where we want to go from here.

All month long, we’ll be sharing our thoughts on The Great September Reset and exploring some of the many ways a fresh start can change the way we see our lives, our work and our communities.

💛💙💜 🍁 September is full of possibility. There is something about a new season and a return to routine that makes us look ahead. We begin thinking about what we want to accomplish, what we want to change and where we want to put our energy.

But a reset does not have to be dramatic. It can be as simple as making one different choice, reconnecting with someone, trying something new or deciding that something important deserves a little more attention.

That is what we’ll be talking about all month as Family Promise of Hunterdon County explores The Great September Reset.

💛💙💜 September has a way of turning our attention toward what comes next. The seasons are beginning to shift. Summer is winding down. New routines are taking shape. And somewhere in the middle of all of that, we may find ourselves thinking about our own lives, our own goals and the things we want to carry forward into the months ahead.

This September, Family Promise of Hunterdon County is exploring The Great September Reset... a month of reflection, conversation and fresh perspectives.

🍂💛💙💜 Sometimes a reset is a big decision. Sometimes it is simply a small change that helps us move forward with a little more intention.

September seems to understand that. It arrives with new schedules, new routines and that unmistakable feeling that we are standing at the beginning of something.

So this month, we’re taking a closer look at The Great September Reset... what it means to begin again, to rethink what matters and to consider what might be possible when we give ourselves permission to make a change.

💛💙💜 September brings us back into rhythm. The alarm clocks go off a little earlier. The calendars begin filling up. Families settle into new routines, and the pace of life begins to change once again. But beneath all of that activity, September can also offer something valuable: an opportunity to stop and think about what comes next.

Throughout September, we’ll be exploring The Great September Reset and what it means to start fresh, find a new rhythm and make room for the things that matter.

❤️ COME FOR THE CARS. STAY FOR THE STORY.

Twenty years ago, somebody had an idea. Somebody thought cars could bring people together. Somebody thought a bank parking lot could become a gathering place. Somebody thought the community would show up...
..and they did. For 20 years.

Now we're hoping the community will help us tell the rest of the story.

Who is Cruisin' Bob?
What's your Cruisin' Bob's story?
How many cars have rolled through that Clinton parking lot?
How many friendships started there?
How many volunteers have made it happen?
How much money has this event raised?
And what stories are still sitting in someone's garage, photo album or memory?

Because between now and October 4, we're going to see if Hunterdon County can help us finish the story.

And then, on October 4... we'll gather in Clinton. We'll look at the cars and hear the engines. We'll probably hear someone explain why their car is better than everyone else's... (insert the eye roll emoji here, lol) - and we'll celebrate something that has lasted for 20 years: A community that keeps showing up.
