Another post to alert you that a storm is on the way!

A winter storm is expected to hit our area soon. For everyone’s safety, please stay off the roads unless you really need to be out. Snow and ice make driving dangerous and can slow down emergency crews when they’re needed most.

🔥 Be Sure to Stay Warm!
Fireplace & Wood Stove Safety Tips:
If you’re using a fireplace or wood-burning stove:
• Keep anything that can burn at least 3 feet away
• Never leave a fire unattended
• Use a screen to keep sparks from popping out
• Let ashes cool completely before throwing them away
• Make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are working

🚒 Lend a Hand — Clear Fire Hydrants
If there’s a fire hydrant near your home, please help us out by shoveling it clear. Clearing about a 3-foot space around the hydrant and making it visible from the street can save valuable time during an emergency.

Thanks for helping us keep Flemington safe.

You saw it here first! ❄️ Everyone stay safe this weekend.
