Rain, rain go away, the POOL will open in one more day!!!! Share the great news! The Fleming County Recreation Park Pool will open for the 2026 season on Friday, May 29, 2026!!! Daily pool hours are Monday-Saturday noon til 5 pm and Sunday from 1-5 pm. To celebrate the end of the rain and beginning of the season we will be having special night swims this weekend on Friday and Saturday nights from 6-8:30pm. $5 per person admission. Follow the Fleming County Recreational Park FB page for more info on swim lessons, night swims, booking pool parties, and weather delays.

🚨 REMINDER: Golf Cart Renewals Are Due! 🚨

If you operate a golf cart on City of Flemingsburg streets, your yearly golf cart permit renewal is due on or before July 1st each year.

To legally operate a golf cart on city streets, golf carts must:
✅ Be inspected by the Fleming County Sheriff's Office
✅ Have proof of insurance inside the golf cart at all times
✅ Display a valid City permit sticker
✅ Display a slow-moving vehicle emblem
✅ Only be operated on streets with speed limits of 35 MPH or less
✅ Only be operated between sunrise and sunset

Drivers must also:
✔️ Have a valid operator’s license in their possession while driving

Please note:
⚠️ Golf carts may not cross intersections where the roadway being crossed has a posted speed limit greater than 35 MPH.

The annual permit fee is $25.00 and permits expire each year on June 30th.
