Spread the word - the community food distribution for *Fleming County residents* is THIS SATURDAY, September 19th. We will be at the County Barn (493 Industrial Drive, Flemingsburg, behind toyo seat) beginning at 1:00 p.m. and will distribute food until it’s gone.

Please have your ID ready at the entrance and your trunk empty.

We’ve been working behind the scenes on a new program that we hope will make a BIG difference for pets, their families, and our community. ❤️🐶🐱

Thanks to grant funding the City of Flemingsburg is getting ready to launch a Spay & Neuter Assistance Program!

🏡 Fewer unwanted litters
❤️ A helping hand for our growing animal shelter and local animal population

We’re putting the finishing touches on the program now, so applications are NOT open just yet — but they will be soon!

🏴‍☠️💙 SRO SPOTLIGHT — OFFICER SHAWN FEARIN! 💙🏴‍☠️

We’re continuing our SRO Spotlight as we head into the second week of school! Today, we’re introducing Officer Shawn Fearin, who will be serving the students and staff of Ewing Elementary School!

Officer Fearin is ready to spend the year with our Ewing Pirates, helping provide a safe and welcoming school environment while building positive relationships with students. At the elementary level, an SRO has a special opportunity to show our youngest students that police officers are people they can trust, talk to, and count on. 👮‍♂️❤️

Whether he’s helping keep the school safe, giving out high-fives in the hallway, joining in on school activities, or simply being there when a student needs a friendly face, we know Officer Fearin will be a great addition to the Ewing Elementary family!

If you see Officer Fearin at Ewing, make sure you give him a big Pirate welcome! 👋🏴‍☠️
