June 19th we will have a booth at Flandreau Friday, and will be raffling off these 2 beautiful Freedom Apple trees! They will be raffled as a pair, to promote cross-pollination, and tickets will be $5 each.

We'll also have seed available for purchase, goodies for the kids, and lots more, so make sure to stop by our booth!

The trees are planted, and fabric installation is coming to a close, which means it's time for our end of season Tree Sale!

We will be holding the Tree Sale this coming Friday & Saturday (May 22nd & 23rd), from 4pm-7pm on Friday, and 8am-1pm on Saturday, at the Moody Conservation Tree Shed (403 N Wilson St. Flandreau, SD)

The Conservation Grade trees will be priced at $2/each and will vary in size (as seen below).

SDACD has setup a great new way for community members to submit conservation related things they're seeing around their county!
Whether positive, like the return of native species or cleaner water in a creek bed, or negative, like new weeds or issues with your trees, we'd love to hear from you so we can all work together to pour into this beautiful land we call home!

What are you noticing out there? It could be good news: a creek running cleaner, grass coming in strong, wildlife more active. Or something worth flagging: new weeds, trees struggling to grow, or something that just seems off.
