Last night, after months of hearings, over a dozen concerned citizens continued to show up to the Greenwich Land Use Board meeting. There, a developer wants to pave over the historic Peter Smith farm, next to the Muscanetcong River, for yet another warehouse.

We were blessed with a powerful article giving a practical, modern example of what patriotism looks like in this week's Hunterdon Review, by op-ed writer, Dennis Klein.

He points to Anthropic's standing up to Trump, for speaking truth to power in refusal to comply with immoral and unconstitutional demands, as a civic duty. In this case, explicitly, because "that company refused to help the military conduct mass surveillance of American citizens and deploy fully autonomous weapons without human oversight."

That, Dennis argues, is what patriotism [also] looks like. Please read the article for yourself and feel free to share.
