Good Afternoon Navajo Nation! As most know, DNR is hosting our 2019 Summit starting next week on Tuesday, June 19, 2019 till June 21, 2019 @ Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort. Online registration is currently closed, but we will have early registration on Tuesday, June 18, 2018 from 6pm to 7pm MST on site at Twin Arrows. And registration will continue Wednesday June, 19, 2019 starting at 7:30 and runs throughout the conference.

We will also be having a fun run/walk each morning of the conference hosted by our Navajo Parks & Recreation Department starting at 6am to 730am.

Good morning, this announcement is regarding our Navajo Nation Department Of Resource Enforcement summer internship opportunities, details follow.

MISSION: To safeguard human life and to hold all life as sacred. To hold Navajo Traditional Teachings and Values in high esteem. To protect and preserve the natural, cultural, historical and archaeological resources of the Navajo Nation, through public education and the enforcement of its laws and regulations.
Internships available for enrolled members of the Navajo Nation who are friendly, motivated and enjoy working outdoors. If you are currently a full-time student and pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Criminology or related field our internships will provide you with an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience.

Rate of Pay: Depends on education and experience
When: May 20th – August 16th, 2019
Where: Placements available across the Navajo Nation
How to Apply:
Submit a letter of interest, Navajo Nation Application, copy of college or high school transcripts/diploma or GED, Letter of admission, CIB, class schedule for the upcoming Fall semester showing full-time enrollment status, .

IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR 2019

The Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife has important changes with Fishing/Small Game and Watercraft permits. The 2019 Fishing/Small Game and Watercraft permits may be purchased online beginning January 1, 2019 at www.nndfw.org. In order, to purchase one of these permits online you may use one of the following: VISA, Master Card, and American Express.

Another important change is the annual fishing/small game and watercraft permits will be valid for one year from the date of purchase. However, if you choose to, you can still purchase the paper permit at our vendors.
