Science is about asking questions. NASA is studying the impact of space on human health as astronauts prepare to spend more time living and working on the moon. If you have ideas about what they should focus on, NASA wants to hear them.

NASA’s Human Research Program (HRP) is requesting information from the research community to help identify research opportunities that will advance human health and performance during sustained human exploration to the Moon.

I visited Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona to hear from folks impacted by Republican SNAP cuts. One person works 60 hours a month with a disability but no longer qualifies for SNAP. Another woman uses SNAP as a bridge while raising her son and going to school.

Moms. People with disabilities. Students. Veterans. Active-duty servicemembers. All struggling to put food on the table because Republicans cut food assistance to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. This is wrong and I’m fighting hard to fix it.

For years, PFAS—forever chemicals linked to cancer—have contaminated Tucson’s groundwater and threatened its drinking water. This upgraded treatment plant will remove these chemicals and make Tucson’s water safer. That’s why I fought so hard to secure this funding through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

It was great to speak at the launch of The University of Arizona’s Integrated Business and Engineering Program. I know firsthand how important it is for the next generation of leaders to understand both engineering and business to get something done. I’m glad Arizona students are leading the way.

I’m thankful for the emergency crews and first responders who’ve been on the ground since Saturday. The search continues for one person still missing, and my heart goes out to the families impacted by this tragedy.

The flash flooding also caused damage to water systems, leaving the area in a stage 4 water restriction. My office is monitoring the situation, and I’ll do everything I can to support these communities.
