Community Redevelopment Area: ๐‚๐‘๐€ [๐’๐„๐„-๐‘-๐€], ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ง: A dependent special district in which future increases in property values are set aside to support redevelopment projects and related activities within that district.

It is ๐‘๐ž๐๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐–๐ž๐ž๐ค across Florida. Stay tuned to learn about projects and programs created through the Community Redevelopment Agency in Flagler Beach.

The ๐ƒ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ of our CRA is ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ž๐ฒ ๐‘๐ฒ๐š๐ง, who manages the activities of the CRA, coordinates very closely with local downtown businesses and focuses the efforts to beautify and maintain public spaces between N. 9th Street and S. 9th Street as well as westward to the intercoastal.

On Thursday, September 10, 2026, officers and leadership with the Flagler Beach Police Department attended the annual Crime Stoppers Awards Banquet at the Daytona International Speedway.

๐Ž๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ซ ๐„๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ญ ๐‹๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ was nominated for a life-saving award and was being recognized for his efforts.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Officer Luttrell, who ๐–๐Ž๐ the 2026 Crime Stoppers Officer of the Year for an agency with between 1 and 25 officers.

Thank you to all of the members of the community who gathered in Veterans Park this morning to recognize the 25th Anniversary of 9/11, the sacrifice of the civilian and service member lives lost on this historic day and the days that followed.

Among those in attendance was Jeff Kingdon, United States Marine Corp Veteran, Chairman for the Flagler County Veteran Advisory Council. Earlier this week, Jeff presented the city with a beautiful display of the flags for each military branch.

Thank you to the Veterans, organizations and citizens that keep these traditions alive in our community.

Full-time lifeguard coverage at the chairs ๐ก๐š๐ฌ ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐จ๐ง. Lifeguards will continue to be on duty on Saturday and Sunday through October 31st and we will also have lifeguard coverage on Monday, October 12th for Columbus Day.

As always, please enjoy the beach safely and swim near a lifeguard when coverage is available.
