2025 Impact: Supporting Youth Across Dane County

Every year, Briarpatch Youth Services works alongside young people and families navigating some of life’s most difficult moments—crisis, housing instability, mental health challenges, and involvement in the justice system.

Through programs rooted in compassion, accountability, and opportunity, Briarpatch helps youth build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward stability.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing highlights from our programs and the ways youth and families found support in 2025.

• 2,305 youth and young adults served across all of Briarpatch’s events, programs and services.
• 62 Agency volunteers
• 636 Volunteer hours

At Briarpatch, we believe every young person deserves to be seen, valued, affirmed, and supported for exactly who they are. Pride Month is an opportunity to honor the ongoing pursuit of equity, safety, and belonging while recognizing the advocates, activists, and community members who continue to create a more inclusive world for all.

Briarpatch Youth Services invites youth artists of all disciplines—fine artists, illustrators, singers, musicians, dancers, poets, spoken word artist, knitters, crafters, makers and more—to be part of our 8th Annual Youth Arts Festival! This is your chance to share your creativity with the community, connect with other young artists, and celebrate the power of youth expression.
