development of every scholar. The students and staff at Savanna Oaks practice our established habits of community in respectful, engaging, safe and responsible lifelong learning in community together. With high standards and expecta

tions established, we explore myriad ways to ensure that all students are fully engaged with challenging learning opportunities. The Verona Area School District (VASD) is working with all district schools to ensure that:
•Every student has a personalized learning plan that provides a path to discovery and achievement and that plan is reviewed and changed at least annually based on the student’s needs
•Every student’s parent, guardian or advocate participates directly in the design, implementation,
and outcomes of that student’s personalized learning plans
•Every student meets or exceeds personalized learning plan goals every school year
•Every Verona Area High School student graduates
•Every graduate achieves their choice of college and career path
