As the Leg. Affairs committee decides to keep fluoride in our water (which I agree with. Fluoride hasn't bothered no one all this time until someone who probably has their own well water decided to complain) one constituent, while exiting, decided to scream and shout "you don't work for us!".
Okay. Stop putting the same people in office.

I can't help but finally say something. Night after night, for hours...the same channel that I was told "there's not really any space left for new shows" airs computer graphics...like the following...
Or...the public channel gets filled with government meetings and events which, in my opinion, ALL government recordings should be aired on the GOVERNMENT channel we own. The one that broadcast law SPECIFICALLY set aside for government. FATV is called a PEG station. It has 3 channels. One for government, one for education, one for the public...the one the good-ole boys club doesn't want the public to know is set aside for THEM.
FATV censors what ideas Fitchburg residents can freely and creatively share with eachother.
I was once asked -AS IF- the question was being asked on behalf if the 48K residents that live here: " do we really want that content representing our station?"
Only 2 people in the room. 1 yes . 1 no. I wonder how the other 48k people would like to answer?
Unless your ideas fit into the conservative box that gets smaller and smaller, you may not share or introduce ideas to your fellow neighbor via motion picture that the gov. set aside money for you to use for said specific purpose.
Shorty Productions, LLC has not created any new content because the company computer is not functioning at the moment. It has to be taken to its mechanic.

Okay, historical question time. Is this anything of Fitchburg historical value? A few weeks ago I noticed for the first time ever in over 25 years, thus brick half-buried face up in the ground among the group of 4-7 bricks closely scattered, most half-buried in the same fashion. What I assume to be a last name appears professionally carved, or stenciled, in. Maybe the artist of the house? Just sharing.
Anyone else have a brick in their yard, maybe a bottom corner of your house (obviously if it's made out of brick) with a name carved or stenciled in?
Oh, and check out my buffalo nickel.

Am I the only candidate, as usual, helping constituents get registered to vote?
I want everyone in the city on the same page and caught up with the information while your current elected officials would rather keep information to the current 3000 people who get off their asses in Nov. Then people wonder why the administration appears to ignore the other 45,000 residents in the city while they push forward with their Club Main St. agenda. Does anyone find it funny the only time they knock on your door is when it's signature nomination time? Do they ever reach out to anyone after that? Are they reaching out to any of you with information or opportunities of involvement with the same enthusiasm when they wanted signatures?

Did you know...
In the year 2022 race was FINALLY abolished in U.S. medical algorithms that determined the wait time for getting a kidney transplant?
Once the race factor was taken out in the equations, humans' true urgency factors were calculated and virtually all the Black people at the bottom of the list for a kidney transplant magically got new kidneys to stay alive, within months, of the newly Organ Network's Board of Directors' approved mathematical formula for determining which human being needs a kidney the most, 2nd most, and so on......
WHY am I sharing this- what appears to be completely random- thought/piece of information? In no particular order...
#1. It was on TV
#2. Racism is real.
#3. People in Fitchburg need kidneys.
#4. We as Americans need to discuss these things amongst ourselves. People are unnecessarily dying.

Question: If there is no sign indicating no trespassing or private property or ANYTHING else, does that make the area/space in question publicly accessible?
Asking for a friend.

Two Questions.
1. When did Twin City change their policy that parents- nor anyone- can call the stand and pre-pay the fare with their debit/credit card to bring their child home?
This was bran, new to me as my female driver, taking credit as being that night's shift manager, also put in a damn good attempt at trying to convince me that my family has never paid my fare upon arrival while the dispatcher's crystal ball was giving him an impossibly incorrect reading that there isn't a family member in existence to pay the bill....like I was making it all up....until my parent was rudely told they couldn't order me a cab. Why? Was it because they felt stupid trying to make a liar out of me until a person with a matching ID to their credit/debit card actually called trying to give them American Dollars?
"FK them" I was told. The other company was on their way to me...and was there in less than 5 minutes.
2. Has any of my fellow candidates EVER been asked by anyone at City Hall: "you sure you want to turn your [signatures] in now?" I dare say 9 out of 10 reasonable people who would look down at my nomination form would probably conclude and near instantly understand WHY I would so choose to turn in those 11 signatures as is. For those who probably still don't quite understand, the signatures were one breath away from smearing into a mutilated, disqualified mess on a water damaged paper with fraying edges....I wanted to save the signatures while they were still valid ly readable. WHY would I be asked if I was sure I wanted to turn in the signatures now ensuring saved qualifying certifications?

I have something to present to the Legislative Affairs Committee. Legislation doesn't typically come about until, well, the reason needing for it actually happens.....
It is NOT a crime to carry confectionery sugar nor baking soda in whatever packaging an American may choose....
Yes or no?
Apparently...the answer is no. Americans cannot possess confectionery sugar nor baking soda in whatever packaging they may so freely will. At least not in Fitchburg.
Legislative Affairs might want to pass some sort of "quick-rapid-test-on-the-spot-police-mini-kit"....you know...to more securely protect our rights.....right?

By the way, we have registered voters in the city of Fitchburg whom genuinely don't know all 50 states....yet our elected officials used their water and salt to bring at least 90K to Fitchburg to insulate a concrete slab and to buy a new scorekeeper.

03/25/2025

In 2021, I was scorned and looked down upon during the debates when -how dare I- suggest FREE leftover Covid money be used for music education. How dare a decorated, multi-state, 1st chair, band member suggest any portion of the leftover 30K go towards any uniform or any sports equipment for the underprivileged?!? Or even a book.
It's all about the football team, as usual. Your State Rep. and Senator finagled bagels and used their precious time and resources to bring an earmark from the government to the city of Fitchburg in the amount of 40K for a bran, new scoreboard! Yes, other sports may use it however I guarantee if that scoreboard wasn't being used to keep score for the football team our Rep. and Senator wouldn't have worked so hard to bring us citizens 40K for a new one.
Speaking of earmarks....our State Rep. and Senator, keeping the needs of the constituents of Fitchburg in mind, worked even harder to bring us even MORE money. They brought us another 30K. That money could do good things for our citizens, like buy computers and teach the citizens technology literacy. That's not nearly as important though for what they worked hard to bring us 30K for. No, we need that money to insulate a concrete slab somewhere on the fitness trail at Coolidge.
Your elected officials, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaking of the FPD. They are asking, again, for more money for dispatchers because we can't seem to fill the 12 open slots that have been open for some time. We raise rates, another city raises their pay. We train dispatchers and then they go to other cities. Something that was discussed awhile ago was dispatcher centralization or regionalization. Nobody wants to give up all that dispatcher money.
Speaking of money we still have CDBG Block Grant Covid-19 money from 2020 that has to be used by the end of the year. The $3000 will be used to help tenant rent and utilities.
Yes, I'm a couple weeks behind on Fitchburg Finance meetings.
I did see Chief Martineau ask for money one last time and then got to see the new chief take his place and in his first appearance ask for money.
The End.

OMG! Yes, I'm stupid late for this light-bulb to go off. Like, a year or two type late...give or take. I get it now why Beaucheman addressed the Chief the way he did back when pay raises or the new rubric, one or the other, was being discussed. It was the way he ended it...."when you're sitting comfortably with a 300k retirement check!" He was mad. Right, the city has to pay for it.
It just dawned on me just now at 6:30 in the morning why Council Beaucheman was mad. This happened less than 3 years ago. The Chief retired earlier this year. Did he REALLY need a pay raise and then another raise 2 years before retirement? All he had to do was ask his friends on the Finance Committee. He doesn't give a fk how the city deals with figuring out how to fund the pay raises...and subsequent retirement checks that I THINK was proposed to also grow algorithemically...maybe until a cut-off. Don't quote me.
