September is Library Card Sign Up Month!

Visit the Children’s Room this month to sign your child up for a free library card and get a “READ” bag with lanyard, sticker, and bookmark!

Lost your card? Replacement cards for children are also free this month!

We have two new passes available through our Discount Museum Pass program!

The Butterfly Place and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum passes are now available to be reserved through our online booking system.

Our summer "Kid Librarians" did a great job picking out books to display and recommend to other kids!
This popular program will be back for the fall! If you have a child interested in becoming a "Kid Librarian," stop by the Children's Desk on your next visit to the library and learn how to participate.

The Boston Children's Museum pass is now available to be reserved through our online booking system. The pass admits up to 4 (adults or children) at half price per person. This is a digital pass delivered by email.

Thanks to Fitchburg Access Television (FATV) for highlighting our storytime at Hollis Hills Farm last Wednesday!

Led by librarians from the Fitchburg Public Library, young readers enjoyed books while chickens wandered nearby and other animals watched from behind the fence. The event gave families a playful way to connect reading with the excitement of visiting the farm.
