We had a great time at Harvest Fest yesterday! 🍂🍁

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, decorated a tote bag, chatted with us and donated to the Delaware Township Food Pantry. We loved getting to see so many familiar faces and meet new members of our community!

A big thank you to Les and team at Fishers Art Council for inviting us again this year. We’re already looking forward to next year!

25 years later, we continue to remember September 11, 2001.

Delaware Township joins communities across the country in remembering the lives lost and honoring the first responders, families and communities who came together in the days that followed.

We honor their memory and will never forget.

Delaware Township staff completed our 2nd annual CPR training today with the Fishers Fire Department!

In 9 days, Harvest Fest will return on Sunday, September 13th from 12pm-5pm. This free community event benefits several local non-profits, and today we're highlighting Delaware Township Trustee’s Office Food pantry. For more event info, visit FishersArtsCouncil.org/harvest-fest.
They will offer a tote bag decorating activity while supplies last. Check out their pantry needs at tinyurl.com/delawarefoodpantry and bring some donations with you. They are partnered with Cheftlc / Faith the Food Bus so get your comfort food while you help provide food for our neighbors in need!

The emergency phase of curbside debris pickup is ending. Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, is the final day for large‑truck collection.

If you still have any approved debris—vegetative debris, construction materials, large appliances, electronics, hazardous waste, or sandbags—make sure it’s at the curb by Wednesday and Thursday so crews can get it before the deadline.

Residents needing help to be curbside ready, should contact Samaritan’s Purse, Serve Village, or Southern Baptists Disaster Relief.

After the holiday weekend, crews will begin a smaller, secondary operations phase that includes scouting for any remaining debris. This final pass is intended to conclude the debris‑pickup phase.

Following this phase, residents will return to standard trash pickup methods.
