Community Foundation Confidential No. 2!

Applications for our competitive grants open on June 15th, so today's question is "How does HCCF decide who receives a grant?"

Our grants committee reviews applications based on community need, organizational capacity, and alignment with our focus areas.

In short, all of our grants are awarded to organizations positioned to make the most impact in Hamilton County.

We are still thinking about Hamilton County Tourism's inaugural State of Tourism event!

We loved hearing about the impact of tourism across the county and we ended our day by exploring Conner Prairie's must-see exhibit, Wellspring.

As HCT President and CEO Karen Radcliff shared, “When tourism thrives, the community thrives.”

Earlier this week, the HCCF team attended the Westfield Education Foundation’s Scholarship Awards Night, celebrating an incredible group of students.

We were especially proud to support two of our board members, Tonya Hyatt and Lindsay Gotwald, who helped make the evening possible through their involvement in recognizing recipients and supporting scholarships for 87 local students.

Congratulations again to all the students who received awards!
