Our Liberia mission team has completed their first two days providing training for a seminar they are teaching called: HOPE AND HEALING: Families in Addiction.

The goal is to equip our partners with education, awareness and resources to help the families in their community struggling with addiction.

The first day of training included a review of family systems and how they contribute to the cycle of addiction. The concept of the family system was illustrated visually using kasava leaf soup with peanut butter (pictured below). Nearly 50 people attended the session.

Today's session was a comprehensive review of the cycle of addictions and possible interventions.
