This is your opportunity to step into local politics and see if getting involved would be a fit for you. If you want to affect change, preserve constitutional principles, and maybe even run for office, start here.

What to expect…
1️⃣Arrive at 9:30am. Sign-in as a guest, then grab a cup of coffee and a breakfast pastry. The first half hour is for you to meet other Republicans and our Speaker, Ben Nguyen.

2️⃣Grab a seat at 10:00am and observe a regular Young Republicans business meeting. We will review events from the past month including the Ohio YR Convention in Summit County and the Hancock County Fair. We will discuss plans for the party’s parade float in the Findlay City Halloween parade, and campaign efforts happening in and around our area.

3️⃣We will wrap up business discussions at 10:30am then open the floor to Benjamin Nguyen where he will share his inspiring story of running for his own high school board - and WINNING - before he even graduated.

Refusing to debate is just as bad as losing a debate. Ohioans deserve to see their governor candidates face-off on a public platform, defending their positions and allowing the people to form their own opinions.

Republican Vivek Ramaswamy said he accepted two debate invitations. Hours later, Democrat Amy Acton rebuffed them. See link below ⬇️

🚨Veterans - Don’t miss out pre-registering for this year’s Veterans Day dinner at the Hancock County Fair. More details on the post below.

🇺🇸 Coming straight from work?
This year, we’re offering something NEW for our Veterans Day at the Fair Dinner. Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

If you won’t be able to arrive early because you’re working until 5:00 PM or later, you can pre-register and we’ll save you a seat.

🎟️ 100 pre-registration spots available
📅 Registration opens Wednesday, August 19 at 7:30 AM
⏰ Registration closes Wednesday, August 26 at 5:00 PM

This option is specifically meant for veterans and guests who are coming directly from work and may not be able to get to the fairgrounds early.

IMPORTANT: You do NOT need to pre-register to attend the dinner!

There will still be plenty of seating available the day of the event on a first-come, first-served basis for those already enjoying the fair and arriving earlier.
