Ahoy, mateys! Celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Day with us in the Lindamood Room at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library on Saturday, September 19 at 3 pm by joining a crew and playing a game of Giant Battleships! This program is for teens in grades 6-12. Space is limited and registration is required.

The votes are in and our winner for the Best Sci-Fi film is the ground-breaking 1999 film, The Matrix, with 12 votes! This month was really close between the top three; I think we are all a little surprised that Star Wars: A New Hope was not first, but actually second place (11 votes), and the dinosaur thriller, Jurassic Park, won third place (10 votes). If you want your movie to win next time, make sure to come by the library before September 30th to get your vote in for this month's display, Mystery!
