Over the past 2 weekends this group of area fire and rescue personnel spent a total of 40hrs getting certified for grain bin rescue operations...we thank everyone who attended his class as well as the instructors and the business's that donated to help cover the cost of the class...

Keep eye on weather tomorrow afternoon

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms will move through the region Sunday afternoon into evening.

Damaging winds of 45-60MPH are expected in western IL, and 55-80MPH in eastern IL. Embedded tornadoes are expected too in southern IL. Below is timing potential of when storms may begin.

Behind the storms, temps will crash about 20 degrees within an hour leading to icy roads and sidewalks Sunday evening.

Snow will move in too leading to dangerous travel, mainly in NW IL.
