We love that these sophomores from McComb's Leadership class made the airport one of their stops along their municipal government tour yesterday.

While they were here, they we able to see some large and small aircraft come and go as well as hear from line service technicians about the importance for fuel quality assurance.
The students asked questions about the skills and training needed for the airport job and what kind of jobs are available at an airport.

It was a gorgeous day with so much excitement! 🤩

CALLING ALL FOOD AND CRAFT VENDORS!!!

Interested in being a part of this event and showcasing your food or craft, let us know!

We will host the Ford Tri-Motor aircraft that will be selling rides as well as any other visiting aircraft. The event will have inflatables set up and some other kid focused fun. We are inviting food and craft vendors to be a part of the event.
This is a free event for the community to experience, and we see about 3000 guests at our events at the airport.

Keep in mind that craft vendors will need the following:
City of Findlay Vendor Permit
Solicitor License (only required if vendor has an address outside of Findlay)

Food vendors are required to have the Vendor permit and the solicitor license.

*Applying for these can take some time so getting started sooner than later is advised.

The 180th Fighter Wing will be participating in a Combat Readiness Inspection, beginning today, April 20, through Sun., April 26.

Throughout the week, you may hear or see:
➡️24-hour flight operations
➡️Increased traffic
➡️Increased personnel activities along the base perimeter & security gates
➡️Drone activity
➡️Smoke & Fire
➡️Loudspeakers, sirens & simulated gunfire

Readiness inspections, in addition to real-world deployments and training exercises, ensure Air National Guard wings are trained, equipped and ready to deploy at a moment's notice, anytime - anywhere, in support of U.S. National Defense Strategies.
