Flag Football 🏈 has been underway for our Hancock County Special Olympics athletes and the heat yesterday only fueled their desire to learn new drills! Flag Football is a newer sport to BVC over the past few years and there were 20 athletes that signed up this year alone. They are working hard to be ready for their first game on September 8th @ the Roethlisberger Field. Good luck this season! 👏🏻

Listen, her smile says it all!

Last fall, on a much cooler day than today, Molly Constien and her father, Rick, helped us deliver several accessible picnic tables to the Hancock County Fairgrounds. These tables provide roll-up access, allowing people who use wheelchairs to sit at the table alongside everyone else.

We are grateful to the donors, such as Rick and Molly, and The Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation for making this project possible. Thank you for partnering to build a more inclusive community.

Friday marked Sara's last day with Project LIFE. Sara has been with Project LIFE for 1 year and completed 4 internships while part of the program. Sara made the decision to end her time with Project LIFE and pursue employment opportunities. Sara's team met on Friday to hold her last life planning meeting where they discussed Sara's achievements and her goals for the future.
Best of luck to you Sara, go and do amazing things! 😊👏
