Halt Hunger Initiative A United Way initiative addressing the food insecurity issues in Hancock County.

Definitions:
Food security- Access by all members of a household at all time to enough food for an active, healthy lifestyle. Food insecurity- Limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe foods or limited or uncertain ability to acquire acceptable foods in socially acceptable ways.

The Findlay Family YMCA will be hosting a Feed-A-Child weekend meal packaging event. The goal is to package up to 5,000 weekend meals to be distributed to families in need in Hancock County.

Mobile Food Pantry - Saturday 7-14.

Saturday July 14th is the next Mobile food pantry at ADP. It’s located at 3401 Technology Dr in Findlay.
Food distribution starts around 8:15am and lasts till the food is gone.
Please do not arrive before 7am. A representative from each family must be present with a photo ID.
Thank you to the wonderful volunteers at ADP.

Thank you to the National Association of Letter Carriers and community members for participating locally in the national Stamp Out Hunger food drive! Volunteers worked from 9 a.m - 6 p.m collecting and sorting items that filled a truck from West Ohio Food Bank. We will share the total collected as soon as the items are processed!
