While most of our community was asleep, our team was hard at work training.🌙
Last night, the Fillmore Search & Rescue team completed an overnight training exercise designed to sharpen the skills we rely on during real-world missions.
Our training focused on:
🧭 Tracking and navigation
🔦 Searching in low-light conditions
🩺 Patient packaging and transport
Training in realistic conditions prepares us to respond safely, efficiently, and confidently—day or night. Every exercise strengthens our teamwork and ensures we’re ready when our community needs us most.
A huge thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers who continue to give their time, energy, and commitment to serving Ventura County.
