We have 4 full time members, as well as 6 pool position members. Our station is staffed with one 2 man crew 12 hours per day Mon. - Fri. We cover Fife Lake & Union townships in Grand Traverse County and Springfield township in Kalkaska County. Full-Time Members:

Fife Lake area,

As of this morning, there remain 17 reported positive cases of in Grand Traverse County, similar numbers in Kalkaska county. Residents, Stay Home, Stay Safe, Save Lives remains the most important message for residents throughout northwest Michigan.

Additionally, residents are advised to be alert to avoid phone, email, website, and social media scams that request money or personal information in exchange for economic impact payments (often referred to as stimulus checks).

Good afternoon Fife Lake residents. A quick reminder that at 1pm in March 25th the emergency alert siren will be set off for 1 minute. This is a nation wide test of the emergency alert. Please stay safe and if you must go out remember the 6 foot rule.

Yesterday, the Northwest Regional Medical Control issued a mandatory requirement that personnel don an N-95 mask, gloves, and goggles when responding to any medical emergency. They also limited the amount of personnel inside a home during an incident.

Please do not be alarmed if our responders come through your door in full PPE. Also, know that you may see members outside, staging in case there is a need for more help inside the home.

These requirements are for our safety during this trying time.
