The boys and girls track teams are headed to Jefferson City for the state track meet. The girls are trying to repeat as state champions. The boys are looking to get back on the podium after a championship just a couple of years ago. The state meet will be held tomorrow and Saturday. Athletes who qualified for the state meet are:

The Festus Tigers baseball and boys and girls track and field teams have a big weekend ahead. The boys and girls track and field teams are competing at the Class 4 state meet in Jefferson City Friday and Saturday. Tickets are digital only and cost $12 per day. The baseball Tigers are competing in the Class 5 state quarterfinals. It is a best of three series. One game on Friday afternoon, and two games on Saturday if necessary. Tickets for those games are also digital only and are $10 per day.
