The audience gets FIVE minutes at the beginning of the meeting and that's it. So after that they have every right to ignore any questions or comments from the audience. So you are being disrespectful, belligerent and ignored when you speakup, yell or swear at the council. That's just facts. So whining about this won't do any good.

This is how the Fertile City council (and the majority of other city councils) AND the Fertile School board conduct business. This isn't anything new, its been like that for YEARS! If you tried acting like this at a bigger cities meeting that had the same rules, you'd be arrested.

So we sincerely hope that going forward, there is a Polk County Deputy on scene at these meetings. And inewz.TV

They used a really good Bible verse that sums up this whole situation.

FMNH had a Director of Nursing who had been there for many years, 30 or so years. Without going into details, the Administrator fired her. AND then said Administrator banned this lady from FMNH premises and told her not to contact employees or residents.

But yet, when the Administrator was fired, being banned from the FMNH was the #1 thing that the WSWA wanted the City Council to revoke, claiming it was unjust, and VENGEFUL.

But yet it was justified when the DON was fired?

This is crazy how it was good for the goose, but not for the gander, but considering this was backed up by prior and current employees, we know it's the gods honest truth.

This makes me think of a Bible verse.

Romans 12:19
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[a] says the Lord.

Tonight - 7pm they will explain the 2022 fiscal year FMNH audit.

Tomorrow (Thursday) is this meeting. It's to explain in full detail what the auditors found when they audited the 2022 FMNH fiscal year.

Just as a reminder, we know the 2022 year end was in the RED. But this meeting will explain why that is...

This is upsetting, but it's clear, the Nursing home has financial issues.

-$2,257,679 is the net position the Nursing Home ended 2022 with.

This number is found on the bottom of page 15 and 16 of the 2022 City of Fertiles Audit.

Let's sound this extremely large number out - Negative 2 million, two hundred fifty seven thousand, six hundred seventy nine dollars.

This means the nursing home has $2.2 million dollars MORE in liabilities than assets.

In 2022 the Nursing Home took on $578,592 dollars more in liabilities. Thats $320,000 more in liabilities than what was reported to the City Council in November of 2022.

These are horrible numbers, absolutely horrible.

Now, how mad would people be, if the city council did nothing, just let things go on, and the nursing home closed. Y'all would be pi**ed cause they did nothing.
