Employee Spotlight: Ashley Sorensen🥳

Ashley Sorensen has been part of the Avista family for two years, following Chloe from her previous job because, as Ashley says, “I adore her!”

Her favorite part of Avista is spending one-on-one time with residents and hearing their life stories—“like seeing real-life glimpses of the past in real time.” One of her favorite memories is participating in the wheelchair races and hearing the residents cheer them on!

Outside of work, Ashley is a busy mom of six who loves lake days, family movie nights, and cheering on her kids at their sports. She also works part-time as a Parent Ally Advocate with the Whatcom County Juvenile Court system.

Her daughter, Tru, often joins in on activities when she’s out of school—making Avista truly a family place! ❤️ We’re so grateful to have Ashley as part of the Avista Family!♥️
