Welcome Back to School, Ferndale!

The Ferndale Police Department wishes all Ferndale students, teachers, school staff, and families a safe and successful start to the new school year!

As classrooms fill up and school-day routines return, we’re asking everyone to help keep our students safe. Drivers, please slow down, stay alert in school zones, watch carefully for students walking and biking, and give yourself a little extra time during busy drop-off and pick-up hours.

Students, remember to use crosswalks, stay aware of your surroundings, and look out for one another as you make your way to and from school.

We’re excited to see our schools and neighborhoods buzzing with activity again. Here’s to a safe, positive, and successful school year, Ferndale!

šŸ‘¶ Young children and families may appreciate advance notice

Please be mindful of where your fireworks land and how they impact those around you.
