US-23 Median Cleanup — Next Wednesday!

We still need volunteers! Our US-23 Median Cleanup is happening next Wednesday, September 2, and we'd love to have you join us.

📍 Fenton Township Civic Community Center

We'll provide gloves and cleanup supplies. Officers will be on site with lights on for your safety. Volunteers will receive safety instructions before we begin and will be working in the designated cleanup area.

If you can spare some time next Wednesday, please consider joining us! Every volunteer makes a difference in helping keep our community clean.

Volunteer Cleanup Day — US-23 Median

We're giving it another try!

Fenton Township is organizing a volunteer cleanup of the US-23 median this September, and we need your help. Our previous cleanup was unable to take place as scheduled, so we're bringing the effort back and hope to have a great turnout this time around.

📍 US-23 Median — (Meeting Location TBD)

Volunteers will help collect litter from the designated median area. Gloves and cleanup supplies will be provided. Officers will be on site with lights on to help keep everyone safe.

For everyone's safety, volunteers will receive instructions before the cleanup begins and must remain within the designated work area.

Lahring Rd. Rehabilitation Project

The Genesee County Road Commission will begin construction on Lahring Rd. between Linden Rd. and Ripley Rd. on Wednesday, August 26. The detour takes drivers from Linden Rd. to Thompson Rd. to Torrey Rd. and vice versa.

The project is expected to be completed at the end of October. Motorists should allow additional time to reach their destination.

Road work on Whitaker Rd.

The Genesee County Road Commission will be applying a soil stabilizer to Whitaker Rd. between Wyndham Pl. and Lobdell Rd. on Thursday, August 20 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The road will be closed to thru traffic. Drivers should seek an alternate route and allow additional time to reach their destination.

The Fenton Road & Baldwin Road Roundabout is Now Open!🎉

Thank you to everyone for your patience while this project was completed.

Please use caution as drivers get accustomed to the new traffic pattern and remember to slow down and yield to traffic already in the roundabout.
