πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ As lessons continue, we would like to remind everyone of a few important safety guidelines:
βœ… Only lifeguards and students currently participating in lessons should be in the water during lesson times.
βœ… Parents and guardians who choose to stay and watch lessons are asked to remain under the pavilion near the pool house. β˜€οΈ

🌊 What a GREAT start to our summer swim lesson season! πŸŠβ€β™€οΈβ˜€οΈ

We have loved seeing so many swimmers excited to learn and grow their skills in the water. Thank you to all of our families for helping make our program a success!

As lessons continue, we would like to remind everyone of a few important safety guidelines:
βœ… Only lifeguards and students currently participating in lessons should be in the water during lesson times.
βœ… Parents and guardians who choose to stay and watch lessons are asked to remain under the pavilion near the pool house.

These guidelines help ensure the safety of all participants and allow our instructors and lifeguards to keep their focus on the students and the water. Maintaining a clear viewing area and minimizing distractions in other areas helps us provide the best learning environment possible.

Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and support. We are looking forward to a fun and successful summer at the pool! β˜€οΈπŸ’™πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

🚻 A Reminder About Our Public Restrooms 🚻

The City is proud to provide public restroom facilities at our parks, ball fields, dog parks, and other recreational areas. We are happy to offer this convenience for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Unfortunately, ongoing acts of vandalism and misuse have caused damage and created additional costs for our community. These facilities are a privilege, and we ask everyone to help us keep them clean, safe, and available for all.

If vandalism continues, the City may have no choice but to lock restroom facilities during overnight hours or, in some cases, close them altogether.

We appreciate the many residents who treat these spaces with respect and help make our parks welcoming for everyone. Thank you for doing your part to protect these community amenities.

04/30/2026

As we are heading into warmer weather, we ask that you please keep grass clippings off the street. When grass clippings are left in the street, they can wash into storm sewer drains and cause clogged drains, pollute waterways, create traffic hazards, and it violates our local ordinance.

Reminder that for City Residents we do have a compost site located at the intersection of CTH Q and Bronson Blvd. The compost site only accepts lawn waste such as grass clippings and leaves for composting. There is also a separate pile for other yard waste such as tree limbs and shrubs. All waste should be emptied from plastic bags, and the bags not left on-site. Thank you for your help with this effort!
