Nation of patriots tour will be arriving here on 25th July 2025. On July 26 it will be departing from here to Beaver Dam.

SWTC is hosting “The Working Warriors Military Life Beyond Combat” exhibit from November 6-11, 2023. This exhibit is on loan from the Wisconsin Veterans Museum in Madison. Everyone from the area, especially schools and Veterans organizations are welcome to come and view the exhibit which is displayed in the cafeteria and hallway near the Knox learning Center.
Also:
The SWTC Veterans Club is having a veteran get together in “Charley’s” on main campus from 11am-2pm on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023. Local veterans are invited to join them.

Memorial Day activities schedule,
WhitishFunk Post 184, Fennimore, WI.
Veterans traveling to the area cemeteries will meet at the Legion hall from 6:30 to 7 a.m. We will leave for the cemeteries at 7 a.m. sharp. This year’s visits will include:
Stitzer Lutheran, 7:10 ,
Stitzer Methodist, 7:20
Ebenezer, 7:50
Castle Rock 8:20
Hickory Grove 8:45
Bethel 8:55
Prairie 9:15.
These times are approximate, so if you plan to attend, please arrive at the cemetery a little earlier to be sure not to miss the ceremony.
The Parade will be 10a.m., with the program immediately after.

The regular monthly meeting of WhitishFunk Post 184 scheduled for tomorrow night, March 9th at 7:30, has been postponed until Thursday, March 16th, due to the approaching winter storm.

WhitishFunk Post 174 will resume monthly meetings on the second Thursday of the month, starting March 9, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at the Legion hall, 860 Lincoln Ave., Fennimore.

Whitish-Funk post 184 will hold its regular monthly meeting this Thursday night, December 8, 2022, commencing at 7:30 pm. All veterans are welcome to attend.

American Legion Post 184 WILL hold a regular monthly meeting this Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 pm. at the Legion Hall.
The Veterans Day program will take place at the High School on Friday, Nov. 11, beginning at 10:25 am. Veterans please arrive ten minutes early.

Whitish-Funk Post 184 members: we will resume holding our monthly meetings, starting tomorrow night March 10th at 7:30 P.M.
For anyone who has a Lion’s Club calendar, please note that the day of our meeting was accidentally moved to the second Friday instead of the second Thursday of each month. The meetings WILL be held on the second Thursday at 7:30 P.M.

A Veterans Day program will be hosted by the Fennimore High School/Middle School, beginning at 10:25 a.m. Thursday, Nov.11th. The public is welcome to attend. Please wait until 10 o’clock before entering the building.
At 6p.m. Whitish-Funk Post 184 will host a pot luck dinner for ALL veterans and their spouses at the legion hall.

WhitishFunk Post 184 will hold a short memorial service at the Veterans Memorial Park 860 Lincoln Avenue, Fennimore, this morning at 11a.m.
They will then travel to four local cemeteries, Stitzer Lutheran, Ebenezer, Castle Rick, and Prairie (Fennimore), in that order.
Take few minutes out of your day and join us as we remember and honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
