My family and I join our community in mourning the loss of Deputy Terri Sweeting-Mashkow of the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputy Sweeting-Mashkow faithfully served our county for 25 years with unwavering dedication, professionalism, and compassion. She made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and her impact on this community will never be forgotten.

Our deepest condolences are with her family, friends, and the entire Sheriff’s Office during this heartbreaking time. We are also continuing to pray for the deputies who were injured during this tragedy, as well as the locksmith who was hurt.

Rest in peace, Deputy Sweeting-Mashkow. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. 💙

I am honored and humbled to share that I have been re-elected to the Fellsmere City Council.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and place your trust in me — and a special thank you to my amazing wife and daughters for their love, support, and encouragement every step of the way.

I’m ready to continue working hard for our community — listening, serving, and helping Fellsmere move in the right direction. Together, we can make great things happen! 💙

Big news coming from the City of Fellsmere!
One of our very own Fellsmere Elementary students, Dalila Alvarez, designed the winning flag for the city’s flag design contest.

With over 60 submissions across the community, Dalila’s design stood out and was selected as the winner.

Congratulations, Dalila, on this incredible accomplishment.
