MSC's own Kirsten York and Amanda Santo will be presenting on the newest Affordable Housing project at the Greater Federal Way Chamber's membership meeting this coming Wednesday! You can register through the chamber's link below. Join us!

Multi-Service Center will partner with Sound Transit to develop 230+ units of affordable housing in a four-block area adjacent to the Federal Way Downtown Station. Over 90% of homes proposed are 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units, responding directly to the need for family-sized affordable homes in Federal Way. Learn more at our June Membership Meeting.

At Tuesday night's Federal Way City Council meeting MSC was recognized with an Affordable Housing Proclamation to celebrate Affordable Housing Week! MSC CEO, Kirsten York and COO, Amanda Santo pictured with City Coucilmember, Lydia Assefa-Dawson and Maria Lynn Arns and Dorsol Plants from South King County Housing and Homelessness Partners.

🎓MSC's education program team works one-on-one with students wishing to earn their high school diploma or GED but have found the traditional school setting may not work for them. This year, we have eight students earning their GED!

Because these students obtained a GED instead of a traditional high school diploma, they are not able to participate in the typical graduation ceremony. We believe their accomplishments are amazing and deserve recognition and celebration!

MSC will be hosting a GED celebration for these students and their families on Friday, June 12. In order to make this the best celebration we can, we are hoping our fabulous community can help us out with one or more of the following:

🎓Make a donation to support this celebration.
🎓Connect us with companies that may be willing to donate food items or flowers.
