Another CST Sighting. This one is of a former Cadet. The one holding the sign is 2LT Naia Shepherd from JBU, who just commissioned last month! Caption reads, "2nd Lt. Jessica Rushing (left), University of North Georgia, and 2nd Lt. Naia Shepherd (right), University of Arkansas, assigned to 1st Regiment, Advanced Camp, gives instructions for land navigation during Cadet Summer Training on Fort Knox, Ky., June 10, 2026. Land navigation is a training exercise that challenges Cadets to find four points within a time limit only using a compass, map and coordinates." Many 2LTs who are waiting to go to Officer school can be assigned to work the CST at Ft. Knox. We are proud of JBU 2nd Lt! John Brown University

Later this week, we'll commence our annual CST search of pictures and you can help! The albums from Advanced Camp and Basic Camp that your cadet may be going to this summer will be posted here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/armyrotc/albums/ We could really use your help, because family members can spot their cadets far better than the most trained eye of any cadre at the Razorback Battalion! If you find any, please send them to Ms. Diane at [email protected], so she brag on your cadet on this FB page and our instagram page - It's her favorite thing to do!

While finding that website to stalk pictures, look what we found! CDT Adam Busey went to the GCM seminar and he has a few pictures posted in the album on the flickr.com page!

Here's the caption: The top Army ROTC cadets from across the nation met at the Virginia Military Institute, February 23-24, 2026, for the George C. Marshall Leadership and Awards Seminar. The George C. Marshall Leadership and Awards Seminar gives cadets the opportunity to study the character and traits of Gen. George C. Marshall while having thought-provoking discussions with leaders and peers as it pertains to their upcoming careers as officers in the United States Army.

Super proud of CDT Busey for representing the Razorback Battalion!
