Today we say farewell to SSG Thornton, an outstanding Paratrooper, Ranger and Jumpmaster. A leader through and through, he helped lead his team to win Best FiST, multiple training events, and a deployment. Best wishes and thank you for all you’ve done for the team SSG Thornton!

SPC Amaya was also recognized for winning the Loyalty Best of the Best FiST competition.

Congratulations to Charlie Troop Fire Support Team for winning the 82nd Airborne Division Artillery’s Best of the Best Fire Support Competition for 2020! The team is led by 2LT Villagomez and SSG Thornton. The competition pitted C TRP FiST against fire support teams from across the DivArty. SPC Kane, a member of the team, also placed first overall in the 20k Ruck March competition with the fastest time. Congratulations to the team and great job to all competitors!

We say goodbye to 1LT Madia, our resident CBRN subject matter expert. She has been selected to to train and become a PA. 1LT Madia has contributed immensely to the Loyalty bn, and will be missed. Good luck in your future endeavor.

Yesterday our Radar platoon got some great training in hooking up the Radar system to a CH-47. Leading from the front, becoming more expeditious, agile and lethal. Great job!

This year Loyalty will be hosting a "Trunk or Treat" for families of the Battalion! Families are invited to join us for candy, games and more. The event will take place 29OCT20 at 4148 Collins Street, Fort Bragg NC. Look out for more information in the coming week!

Covid mitigations will be in place!
-Participents will be required to wear a mask when not six feet apart
-Hand sanitizer stations will be located thoughout the event
-Tempatures will be taken prior to entering the event
